Find the Right Oven
Single or Double
Single ovens are a compact option, typically measuring around 60 cm in height and featuring a single cooking cavity that can be used for baking, roasting, and grilling.
Double ovens offer even more cooking space with two cavities, often including a grill in the upper oven. Built-under double ovens are slightly taller at around 70 cm, while built-in double ovens can be up to 90 cm in height.
Built-In or Built-Under
Built-under ovens are designed to be installed under a kitchen worktop, in line with your cupboards. This makes them a great option for saving space in your kitchen.
Built-in ovens are installed at eye level, making them easier to reach when rearranging dishes. Both built-under and built-in ovens offer a range of cooking capabilities, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs and kitchen layout.
Electric or Gas
Electric ovens are known for their even heat distribution and precise cooking temperatures, making them a popular choice for many home cooks.
Gas ovens can be more economical to run due to fluctuating energy prices. Both types of ovens have their own benefits, so it's important to weigh your options and choose the one that best fits your cooking needs and budget.
Conventional, Fan assisted or Fan
Conventional ovens have heating elements located at the top and bottom of the oven.
Fan-assisted ovens have a fan in addition to top and bottom elements to distribute heat more evenly.
Fan ovens take it a step further, with a heated element in front of the fan to circulate heat even more efficiently than a fan-assisted oven.
