Heat Pump Dryers - De Dietrich - 9 Kg

Heat Pump Dryers - De Dietrich - 9 Kg

Unlike traditional tumble dryers, heat pump condenser tumble dryers don’t use a heating element. Instead, the heat pump conserves and recycles the heated air before condensing the water into a tank. Although drying can take longer, heat pump tumble dryers will save up to 50% of energy compared to conventional dryers, promising significant cost savings over the lifetime of the machine.

Many models come equipped with anti-crease programmes, which are designed to help you cut back on your ironing duties. Some premium models are even WiFi-enabled for remote operation and servicing.

At Appliance Centre, we offer a range of freestanding and built-in heat pump condenser dryers from the very best brands, such as Miele, Bosch and Siemens.

What’s more, with various capacities available, ranging from 7kg, 8kg, 9kg or 10kg, you’ll be sure to find a heat pump condenser tumble dryer that offers efficient and economical drying.

La Maison De Dietrich

La Maison De Dietrich has been built upon a dynasty of visionaries.
It all started in Jaegerthal, a valley to the north of Strasbourg, with a tremendous gamble. In 1684, Johann Dietrich decided to invest in the forging industry. He stamped all his creations with a hunting horn, and in doing so created the first logo in industrial history.
La Maison De Dietrich entered into a new era under the leadership of Jean de Dietrich, the successor who was given a peerage by Louis XV, and subsequently with Amélie de Dietrich, who was the first woman in industry to bring the importance of design and appearance into industrial production. With this strong momentum behind it, the brand has never ceased to develop its approach towards innovation, ground-breaking ideas, and the French art of living.

OUR SAVOIR-FAIRE

Few French manufacturers can boast over 300 years of history as La Maison De Dietrich can. Since its creation at the end of the 17th century, the company has provided a constant stream of creations, innovations and unique technology, such as the first domestic cooker, the pyrolytic oven, and the saturated steam oven. In 1990, De Dietrich invented the first induction hobs.
In 2010 it created Piano, the first zoneless induction hob, and in 2013 it launched the HoriZone Chef induction hob, which counts four different cooking modes among its innovative new features.
Expertise is passed on from generation to generation, allowing us to offer a level of excellence today that is very rarely achieved. Inspired by its heritage, and its inherited knowledge, the new De Dietrich design is just as much a signature look as it is the personification of the French art of living.

Discover our range of freestanding tumble dryers

In an ideal world there would be no need for tumble dryers, you would simply hang your washing on a clothesline in the warm afternoon sun. But life and, most pertinently, the weather isn’t like that. Especially in the UK. In reality, anyone hoping to dry large washing loads quickly and efficiently will feel the benefit of a tumble dryer.

If you’ve ever found yourself donning slightly damp clothes in the morning, because 7 hours on the airer wasn’t quite enough, or draping wet laundry across every available surface in your flat, installing a tumble dryer could be a game changer.

Our collection of freestanding tumble dryers showcases the latest models from top brands like Bosch, Beko and Miele and covers a wide variety sizes, load capacities and price points. You’ll find loads of options, whether you’re looking for a cheap, occasional use model or a high-capacity work horse to tackle family-size laundry loads on a regular basis.

Freestanding tumble dryer are distinct from integrated tumble dyers because they aren’t designed to be integrated into your kitchen unit, although you can get freestanding tumble dryer cabinets if you want to keep yours discretely concealed behind a cabinet door. Opting to install a freestanding tumble dryer gives you more choice and we think the designs are clean and stylish enough to look good in any kitchen or laundry room.

The Appliance Centre collection features an abundance of innovative technologies to help you achieve perfect, ready to wear drying in record time. Look out for programmable models that offer a variety of settings to deliver optimum results for different materials – remember to check the label – and smart features like AEG’s ProSense, which protects your clothes from over-drying by automatically adjusting the drying time to suit each load size.

From smart Tumble Dryers that work with your phone to sensors that detect when your clothes are dry, we’ve got all the latest tech in our tumble dryer range.

Condenser tumble dryers don’t need any outside venting, as they have a removable water tank that’s easy to empty. You can place them where you like in the kitchen and they all come with nifty programmes such as cupboard dry, shirt programme and the anti-allergy cycle.

On a budget? Then take a look at our vented dryers. These take the moisture outside through a vent so there’s no need to empty a tank.

If you’re keen to save energy, a heat pump tumble dryer may be the one you’re looking for. They recycle hot air created inside the drum to dry your clothes, making them kinder to the environment (and your wallet)

Why not try Miele’s range of dryers? These come with some helpful features, including self-cleaning filters, sensors that weigh your laundry and adjust the settings to save energy, and Wi-Fi control. They also look really stylish too.

Measurement Guide

If you’re on the hunt for a new tumble dryer, our handy measurement guide will tell you everything you need to know. While they’re usually a standard height of around 85cm, the depth will depend on the size of the drum, so it’s worth making a note of this before you choose one. And if you’re after a vented tumble dryer, be sure to add on a few extra centimetres at the back for the hose.
