History

The story of ASKO appliances begins with an enterprising young Swedish farmer, Karl-Erik Andersson, and his decision to build a home-made washing machine for his mother. Using principles of reliability and environmental sensitivity, the resulting creation was wildly impressive, boasting state-of-the-art washing performance and efficiency. Having satisfied even the exacting standards of his mother with his creation, he was inspired to build a manufacturing facility on the family property in order to mass produce it.
