Induction

We all have different priorities in the kitchen, so the type of hob you decide to buy will depend on how you like to cook. Electric hobs come as easy-to-clean ceramic hobs or energy-saving and induction hobs that only heats induction-friendly pans and keeps the area around the base cool. Gas hobs offer precise control for traditional cooking, while dual fuel hobs give you the best of both worlds – for example, an induction hob paired with a gas burner.

Heat Efficiency

Each hob type varies in heat efficiency. Induction hobs heat only the pan base, avoiding energy waste. Ceramic hobs heat specific zones, while gas hobs use flames and lose some energy around the pan edges but heat up quickly.

4 Burners / Zones

The number of hob rings you’d like depends on how much space you think you’ll need. They can have as little as one, all the way up to eight. Some also have clever features which join two or more zones together to create a larger cooking space.

Hardwired

Ready to upgrade your hob? Let’s make sure you’ve got the right power supply. If it’s an induction or ceramic model, you’ll need it hardwiring by a qualified electrician. Or, if you’ve chosen a shiny new gas hob, then you’ll also need an existing gas supply leading to the installation point. But, before you start looking in the Yellow Pages, just pop our installation service into your basket. Our electrical engineers can disconnect and install your brand-new hob and our gas engineers can even install up to 1.5 metre of gas piping. Everything will be ready to go on delivery day.

The CombiInduction hob: you can place large, oval or rectangular cookware on two connected cooking zones.

  • Plug & Play: plugs easily into the socket.
  • TouchSelect: Selection of the desired cooking zone and easy setting of the desired power level.
  • CombiZone: More flexibility by combining two cooking zones, for roasters and more.
  • PowerBoost: up to 50% more power for faster heating on your induction hob.
  • QuickStart: start straight away and select the desired cooking level.

Plug & Play

No Electrician needed
This hob features a 13-amp plug for easy plug-and-play installation, making it ready to use straight out of the box—no technician required. However, the plug limits the maximum power output to 3.7 kW. While this is sufficient for everyday cooking, it may not meet the demands of heavy use. For higher power output, consider selecting a hob without a plug and arranging installation by a qualified electrician.

TouchSelect

With our control elements, you have everything under control
Feature IconWith the TouchSelect control you can regulate the desired cooking zone easily. Simply select the power level you need.

Combizone

More freedom for your cooking.
Feature IconIf you ever need more space for a long piece of cookware, such as a roasting dish, you can combine two individual cooking zones into one large zone with a combined heat level at the touch of a button with CombiZone.

PowerBoost (Induction)

Speed up your cooking.
When you want to get quick and easy meals on the table even faster, PowerBoost can help. This practical feature adds a boost of power for ultra-quick heating. Use it on your induction hob to boil large quantities of water – and heat almost 35% faster compared to the highest power level.

QuickStart

Cookings starts much faster.
Feature IconThe QuickStart function detects where you have placed the pot and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface. You can get started straight away and select the desired cooking level for your pot without delay.

Restart

Stores your control settings.
Feature IconHave you ever unintendedly switched off your hob and all settings were gone? With Restart the cooktop saves your previous settings and restores them in case you switch your cooktop on again within four seconds.

Timer with switch-off function

ChildLock

The handy ChildLock locks the control panel.
The handy ChildLock locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes in settings.

Induction Technology

Faster cooking, reduced energy consumption. This is Induction.
Feature IconInduction hobs generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction hob brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob, which also saves a great deal of energy.
