Extended Warranty

We understand that protecting your appliances is important and if they break, it can be devastating to the flow of your household and daily routines; simple tasks become difficult and you are unsure whether it would be more worthwhile to repair the appliance or buy a new one.

As part of our services, we can supply you with an extended warranty for your new domestic appliance. We can supply either a 3 or 5 year service plan. The Retra Service Plan starts when the manufacturers warranty runs out.

You can add the Protection Plan onto your order, or if you are undecided at the time of purchase, you have up to 30 days to add a Protection Plan to your order. This can be done by getting in touch with us in store or over the phone.

We will repair your product for the term of the plan and if we can’t repair it we will replace it. We only use experienced, qualified and fully vetted engineers.

  • How do I report a fault?
    You simply call the warranty administrators on 0844 8475391 to report a fault, opening hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

  • Who are the administrators of the scheme?
    Retracare are specialists in warranty administration and claims management; they offer exemplarily levels of customer service and are always there to help if you have any queries regarding the cover provided.

  • Who carries out repairs?
    Repairs are carried out by your local authorised service agent or product manufacturer who will be equipped and trained to provide the required service.

  • What if the product cannot be repaired?
    If this is the case, or it is beyond economical repair the plan will cover the cost of a replacement product, matching the specification of the original product.

  • Who pays for any service costs?
    The warranty will cover all services costs and will pay your repairer directly; there is nothing for you to pay. Once you have taken to the cover you can be assured of complete protection.

  • Are there any exclusions?
    Yes, but kept to a sensible minimum. Cover does not include cleaning, tuning, batteries, blockages, misuse or accidental breakage and the like. Your household insurance may give you cover against accidental breakage, fire,theft, flood.
