Consumer demand for solid plate hobs have diminished to the extent that there are now only a few manufacturers making them. Customers now preferred the more stylish look of a ceramic hob or the more power responsive induction hob.
Electric solid plate hobs however do offer fantastic value for money, but are now only available in a 60cm width size.
